Repost of lost flags
Novian | Quasic
Novian is an umbrella term for anyone who is stellian (mspec gay), lunian (mspec lesbian), solian (mspec veldian or turian), quasic (mspec cenelian), or mesrian/jupiteric (mspec straight). It is coined as an alternative to "mspec mono" because some novians do not identify with the term "mono(sexual, romantic, etc.)" and do not believe it describes their gayness, lesbianism, veldianism, cenelianism, or straightness. It is similar to Stellian in the fact that it is an umbrella term for other smaller terms, however unlike stellian, it is not specifically for people who identify as gay in some way.
Quasic is mspec cenelian. It is the Novian or Stellian equivalent of mspec cenelian.
Novian was coined by @redtail-coins Quasic was coined by @kenochoric-moved the flag was made ny @ryanyflags
I can't for the life of me remember if anyone else has suggested Nodrian as cinderella and the prince in the third film, but imma say it again even if that's the case cuz I lovvveee the idea
More of my flags for the split attraction model (pt.19)
If you have'nt seen my first post here[link] is my first post about this.
This post includes Mesrien, Novian and Quasic
Most of these omni flags[link] were my reference for the different attraction types, however I already posted my omniqueerplatonic version on here and also for the alterous flag I chose a different blue tone.
For all orientations this will be the order of the flags: sexual, romantic, platonic, alterous, sensual, aesthetic and queerplatonic. The last flag is omnioriented[link] which is a label for when all of your attraction types are the same. So for example when someone is pansexual, panromantic, panplatonic, panqueerplatonic, pansensual, etc. they are omnioriented pan.

Phrenic Adept (Starfinder Archetype)
(art by Stephanieboehm on DeviantArt)
In the far future of Starfinder, universal theories of magic have been discovered, allowing the line between arcane, divine, primal, and occult magic to be broken down, blending them together. Obviously you can still find elements of each if you look closely enough, but the general assumption is that any differences have been relegated to the purely fluff territory. One could easily play an arcane, divine, primal, or occult-themed precog, for example, but they wouldn’t play that differently.
Perhaps, however, you’re interested in a character whose abilities are expressly psychic in nature, and adds a little mental power to whatever class you pair them with.
These adepts have not trained their innate psychic ability into the training regimens of a spellcasting class (usually), and so while they may not have the same magical potential as a true spellcaster, they can prove quite effective by using that power to supplement their other skills. It is most common among species with innate psychic abilities, their power being flavored as being an especially potent manifestation of those innate abilities.
Technically one can also pair this archetype with a spellcasting class with the assumption that they are trying to be a powerful mage dilletante or have especially powerful energies within, and while that’s viable, some may think it superfluous.
In any case, let’s see what the phrenic adept has in store!
To start off with, these adepts gain limited telepathy (or enhance the range of their pre-existing telepathy), and gain an instinctive ability to communicate telepathically with certain entities they do not share a language with. Furthermore, they find it easier to develop other psychic powers from feats.
They also develop strong psychic defenses, allowing them to expend resolve to possibly block incoming mental attacks. Even if they fail, their defenses blunt the mental trauma, reducing harm or the duration of the debilitating effects.
By expanding their senses, these mystics can sense emotions, as well as magic with emotional factors and the magical potential of others.
Later on, they start developing true psychic spells, starting with the ability to enchant others, sense things remotely, or telekinetically target the throat and respiratory system of a foe.
As they grow in power, they can establish telepathic bonds, probe the psyche of others, and instill maddening impulses and delusions in foes.
The most powerful adepts, however, transcend spells with these final abilities, either scrambling the senses, unleashing overwhelming psychic assaults, or erect powerful psychic defenses, though they can only do any of these once a day.
Interested in adding a little magic to your character? This is certainly a fun way to do so. You get offensive, defensive, and utility options, so there’s no downside aside from missing out on the abilities you replace. On that note, the description isn’t wrong about adepts that are also spellcasters being rare. After all, true spellcasting is versatile and powerful enough to render these magics superfluous in most cases, but if you can make it work, go for it. Otherwise, probably pair the archetype with a less magical class to give your character a psionic edge that complements their ability set, and don’t forget that the Psychic Sensitivity feats can help grant you even more psychic abilities.
Something that you don’t see a lot of in Pathfinder/Starfinder are powers that exist outside of the context of classes and training. Sure, there are exceptions, but inborn power or an instinctive knack is a bit rare. This archetype is a decent take on it, certainly.
More interested in studying them than drawing upon their power, the quorlu scientist Hossik has nevertheless developed psychic powers from his constant exposure to the psychically resonant crystals that his research station collects for analysis. However, untrained as he was, he was unable to stop a band of pirates from taking over the facility with aims to profit off the crystals. He was, however, able to send a psionic distress signal to a nearby ship with a sympathetic crew.
Skysplitter the Magnificent is proud, even by the standards of novian-kind. The sentient ball of starstuff has good reason to be proud, of course. Not only is he a powerful solarian, but also a psionic adept as well. He’ll challenge anyone to a duel of strength or wits, though he usually fails at the latter.
The time has come once again for the annual Star Games, a breakneck multi-event elimination competition where the competitors are not allowed to rely on technology or magic to get by, focusing only on physical skill and inborn ability. However, this year there is a bit of controversy as it’s been revealed that one competitor has potent psychic abilities, with traditionalists firmly believing that they should be disqualified, while others believe that such inborn mental powers (as well as the inborn powers of those with the sorcerous gene), should be allowed to compete.
