🍂November is here, and fall is in full swing. The air is crisp and fresh from the rain, and I’m turning in and reflecting on what I want to make and say as an illustrator. I ask myself, “where does my spark shine today?” And sometimes it’s as a children’s book illustrator, other times it’s as a landscape painter, and then there are times I just want to draw beautiful nudes…it changes and moves like the seasons. Self expression shifts, and change comes whether we want it to or not. I think Instagram often puts us in boxes, when in reality, none of us conform to just one. So my illustrations might fluctuate in style and tone from post to post and that’s ok. It’s all part of my voice. ✨Where does your spark lead you today? Found that inner spark again.💫 The last 2 weeks have not been easy for me... I talked about that before. But somehow my motivation and inspiration came back.
