#nourished

You see yourself as a vessel, yet you do not see the imbalance that comes from not allowing yourself to be nourished by all that you pour. God does not give you a word, gift, or personality to merely love, enlighten, and uplift everyone but you. Give yourself the space to hear and feel your own words and testimony. Give yourself the time to work through your own feelings and the compassion needed to carry on when you're ready. You must make yourself available and hold yourself accountable when it comes to your own healing. You've been there for everyone you love, but now you must love and offer that to yourself.

In other news, yesterday night I watched Princess Mononoke, which was my first Studio Ghibli movie, and those two hours plus flew by breathlessly. It ticked all the fantasy boxes in me. As in, prior to me watching it, if you would have visited my favourite dreamscapes there's a big chance that film would play. In aesthetics as well as subject matter/inner conflicts. Perfect. I've been innerly gushing about it all day today. Which raises the question:
