Ok so basically this girl nesta is a human and her whole personality is that like, she's a girl and she's also a bitch. Like her thing is that she's a horrible person and no one likes her. And at first were like ok that's not cool but then her personality is like "I went through horrible horrible trauma and now I'm bitter and have PTSD and don't want to depend on charity so I'm drinking and sleeping away my problems"

Limbo is supposed to be ultimately neutral, stripping a soul of it's flaws, memories, attachments; so it can be ripped apart and put together, reintroduced to the mortal realm. Unfortunately, for a soul to become clear, the owner has to reach some sort of fulfillment, become ready for total annihilation of the self, ready to become pieces. And Ranboo cannot remember his own progress.

So phil... He doesn't know there's something wrong, probably. All he knows is that Ranboo says he'll just be right back, with the promise of being in the overworld again soon. Phil doesn't know why ranboo lies about this, doesn't know why ranboo abandons them, doesn't know why he leaves and doesn't see him again for at least 17-20 years. Maybe this is why phil told tommy and tubbo to not go back to the end without him, so he could see what appeal there was for ranboo, see what kept luring him back away from his family.

Thinking about Notus from an outsider's point of view only knowing about ranboo, yeah that hurts. it's painful. But I genuinely think that seeing this from Phil's perspective hurts even more.

I don't usually pay much attention to describing clothes, because usually I feel like that'll just unnecessarily inhibit whatever the readers' want to imagine?? So I haven't given it much thought if I'm being honest jhsjfhisduuhw-

There's also a reason I'm more of a writer, and less of an artist; I'm horrid at imagining clothes for them too. I can give you the general vibe I had for them though! Like;

- "Summer, light and airy"

- "Not too uncomfortable"

- "One of them's probably wearing a hat"

- "Man, it'd be funny if Ranboo was wearing a sundress the entire time, but I won't describe clothes"

- "Tommy's probably wrinkled because he doesn't fold them and just lumps them around"

- "Techno, the pig, is probably the most well-dressed, because that'd be funny"

- "Sunhat sunhat sunhat sunhat sunhat sunhat-"

- "Is the Wilburfication effect....real.....canon in Notus....not clickbait...."

- "Jeez, I feel bad for Phil and Ranboo now. Imagine having to wear just, a heavy cloak on your shoulders the whole day. And it's summer"

- "I have not lived through a single day of the Summer Season"

- "hrm,,,,,,skirts,,,,,no no, don't describe clothing-"

- "Imagine Tommy losing his shoes because his feet got tired so he took them off but there were too many people and he ended up losing them and walking barefoot the rest of the way"

- "Philza how do you have children I would've simply lost my mind"

okay okay i'll stop stalling- im really happy you think so highly of my writing, but i don't think i'd be able to write that oneshot :(( not only because of real life things (school's starting, fuck me) but also because i don't want to spend too much time on Notus!!

don't get me wrong, I loved it so much and I'm continuing Zephyrus till the end- But that's as far as I'll go with it. I'm honestly a bit anxious I'll 'water it down' or something like that?? I dunno I don't wanna 'milk it' to the point where it gets annoying and repetitive??? does that make sense ?? dshuiadhiwhdw brain weird

but but!!! this doesn't mean there can't be anymore stories about Notus!!! One of my favourite parts is that, because of the loop, there can be countless of events and occurences and a bunch of things that could've happened!!!

So this is the point of the whole answer ig- I'm saying that, if you want to write or draw or create whatever with Notus, you 100% can!! And story-wise, it probably could've happened!! You can write that oneshot yourself if you like!!

Or you could make another story idea!! Maybe one day Ranboo does make it out of the loop!! Maybe Phil finally convinces Prince!Boo to stay!! Maybe Tubbo just doesn't die!! Who knows!!

Make your own spin-off for all I care!! You can!! As long as it doesn't cross any cc's boundaries, it probably won't cross mine!! Go crazy and, more importantly, create stuff!!!

i’m been more active on tumblr recently so i happened to see the most recent post u made! “most of the time he’ll be sitting down!” now my worker bee brain is buzzing about like a frantic conspiracy theorist tying ribbon to pins on a cork board !!

also!! i’m rereading notus like i said i would :D!! chapter three, i just realized the reference to passerine. “that’s a rose. the yellow kind.” tubbo grins. “they’re tommy’s favorite.” author u are Evil /lh!!

i have so much to say even after a day from my last message (i think? my sense of time is skewed during the summer 💀💀) bUT im also drawing the beeduo dancing scene!!!! it was too cute for me to NOT draw and the callbacks to it throughout the fic will never cease to hurt me.

anyway, until next chapter!! might end up popping my head in more often tbh, it’s fun :]
