Abigail Stark the daughter of world famous Tony Stark aka Iron Man is seen in her lab working on a little invention she has been working on. A portal that will take her from where she is at to another universe. She figures this will work since did all the proper calculations and the small testing to be sure it will not open a portal to a zombie world. She also made sure it wouldn’t open to a multiverse.

Don’t want something happening again. As she goes over the numbers her friend Lyra walks in looking concerned.

“Abby, maybe we shouldn’t do this. Maybe we should wait till we run some more tests,” Lyra suggested.

“Oh don’t worry so much, Lyra. This is all going to turn out fine,” Abby replied as she begins powering up the machine. “I know what I’m doing. Have I ever been wrong?”

Lyra points to a nearby chalkboard that shows how many times she has been wrong and right. She has been right 19 times, while on the other side she has been wrong 119 times.

Abby narrows her eyes at the board and at her friend. “Yeah well...” she turns on the machine. “Whoops too late looks like we’re going to test this now.”

“Abby!” Lyra didn’t like that Abby did that as she activates the shield generator to surround the area where the portal is at. “At least wait till I activated the shield.”

“Too slow, Lyra. Now, let’s see where in the universe my portal is...” suddenly the alarm begins going off as the machine begins acting up. “Oh shit not good!”

“We have to shut it down!” Lyra tries shutting down the machine, but it wasn’t working.

“Jocasta! Shut the power down!” Abby ordered her A.I. as she helps to try cutting off the power, but it isn’t working either.

“I can’t. Something is coming through the portal,” said Jocasta through the computer as something did begin emerging from the portal as the machine begins to crack.

“Take cover!” Abby and Lyra took cover as something emerged from the portal before it blew into pieces as they scatter into the air. But luckily the shield blocked the debris as they fell to the ground.

Abby looks up from behind the table and sighed. “That...wasn’t how it was supposed to go.”

Lyra got up and was tempted to tell her friend she told her so, but was more concerned about something else. “What came through the portal?”

“During out first mission together, despite that I didn’t want a padawan then, I saw you and I realized how much of me was in you. Reckless and powerful, but with a good heart. Somehow I knew that you were meant to be my padawan. And as we did many mission together during the Clone Wars, you would demonstrate things when you were fighting that showed how advanced you were and I would think to myself ‘I didn’t know she could do that.’ You still surprise me and I enjoy it. I enjoy watching you continue to grow and learn, even if you are a Master now.”

“You know.... For all of you being younger than me i do awfully lot of the crap work.” Maul pointed out as he walked out from the hallway. Then again some days the Zabrak really moved like a cat, comically enough.  “i’m getting old.” he added dryly before throwing the memory stick to Ahsoka. 

Okay, perhaps it was rather stupid to say he was fine when he had been yelling a few seconds earlier in his sleep but still. He didn’t like talking about it. 

“Have you ever woken up and felt like a bantha hit you hard in the head before sitting on you? That’s how I felt this morning.” Anakin told his former padawan. Ever since Darth Sidious was tried with his final fate unknown, Anakin, now a Jedi Master, would have horrible dreams of a life that could have been. A life he could have chosen in another time had it not been for him clinging on to the support and love from his friends. “You want to get some grub? Maybe some real food this time? I can grab Obi-Wan too. It would be good for us to have some time together again before we have to go on our next mission. And speaking of missions, have you gotten a padawan learner of your own yet? You should have one. You know, part of a Jedi’s responsibility to train the next generation and all that. Whatever Obi-Wan told me before you came into my life.”
