NO TO JEEPNEY PHASE OUT.
I'm not against jeepney modernization, I'm against unemployment, I'm against this system. This is ANTI POOR. The main issue with this is the inability of government officials to properly assure affected workers that they will not be left behind in a supposed just transition!!! They need a modernization procedure that takes into account the socioeconomic conditions unique to the jeepney industry. An improved phrase for modernization strategy. Drivers and operators, who really support the concept of modernization but object to how it is now being implemented, can benefit more from the program if the terms of payment and government subsidies for the modern units are made more favourable. We are not against jeepney modernization, we are against unemployment, we are against this system. This is ANTI POOR.

Nagsampa ng tatlong magkakahiwalay na reklamo ang nasa 26 aktibista't indibidwal sa Office of the Ombudsman laban kay Lorraine Badoy noong Miyerkules, Marso 23.
Inihain ang mga naturang kaso dahil sa 'di umano'y paglabag ni Badoy—ang kasalukuyang tagapagsalita ng kontrobersiyal na National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC)—sa Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act at Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.

Matagal na rin nang huli akong sumulat ng balita para sa The National Guilder. Maganda rin itong paksang napunta sa akin dahil syempre kontra ako sa walang humpay red-tagging. Ang konseptong ito ay paniniil sa karapatang magpahayag ng mamamayan kontra sa bulok na pamamalakad ng gobyerno. Gamit na gamit ito ng administrasyong Duterte sa pangunguna ng propaganda machine nitong NTF-ELCAC upang patahimikin ang kanilang mga kritiko. Ikaw ba naman pagbintangan na miyembro ng mga makakaliwang grupo kung hindi matakot para sa iyong kaligtasan. Maaring sabihin mo na inosente ka pero sa mata ng militar, iba na pala.
Hindi maaatim ang demokrasya kung one-sided ang affairs. Nagiging genuine lamang ito kung ang lahat ay nabibigyang pagkakataong magbigay opinyon nang walang pangamba sa sariling kaligtasan. Kaya naman kailangan nating tumindig, sumulong at bumoses. Freedom of expression, ating ipaglaban!
