Today was a dose of a reality check. See, I got hurt in December (not at crossfit) and I couldnāt train for an entire month to recover. Thatās like an eternity for Crossfitters. Lol. But it had to be done. Now, Itās only my second week back, but Iām starting to realize how much of my strength has diminished from my injury. I used to be able to do 185x5 for OHS easily. Today I couldnāt even do 155x5. Even my arms were shaking from lack of stability. Anyways itās highly irritating to say the least and it gives you that feeling of despair. However, I gotta remember, that Iām only human and Iām still recovering. Because thatās what we gotta do. We gotta recover from our setbacks in order to do better. I know Iāll get back to my normal strength eventually, and even go even beyond that. I just gotta trust the process and keep striving. I prefer formal-wear, as I feel more masculine wearing it, and as I grew up seeing my dad in suits, I really associate it with masculinity and intelligence. That being said, I do sometimes go for a more tomboy look depending on what kind of mood Iām in (Iām genderfluid).Ā
15. favourite book you read as a school assignment?Ā
Honestly, I loved āOf Mice and Menā. It was an amazing piece of literature that completely took me in. For me, it wasnāt that much the story-line, as it was the unerring friendship between George and Lennie. I would definitely recommend this to people who havenāt read it yet!

Itās written from the main characterās perspective. My quote is from when she is deciding what to do during a dilemma between the safety of her kingdom and the safety of her beloved, currently trapped in a monsterās body (Heās the King of Elfhame/Faerieland, but theyāre married, so sheās the Queen too). When she finally decides she thinks:

I love my flamenco class, it really keeps my brain going and my body working ā„ļøšš¾ but it also teaches me so much more about myself. Like itās so hard for me to focus, how easily I feel intimidated, how I feel picked on, disliked, ignored or betrayed . But then I realize these are my thoughts and my feelings only and so I work on my issues and release them them until they sneak up on me again but I never quit. I stay on it and even though my body is not the same at 67, I accept it and keep going. I do this for me, for my soul and thatās it. So whatever obstacles I make up in my brain can easily overcome them by not quitting, by keeping it going and being ok with all my imperfections.
