… and Sunday it starts sneaking in. Since testing positive for Covid 19, and doing everything we can do to keep everyone in the house safe from … well, me. The depression seeps in through the cracks. I am supposed to be at a photography convention today and tomorrow… but that will not happen, I had hoped to maybe catch at least the general membership meeting on zoom but that isn't even happening. When my children were little and would come for custody visits that always wanted to know what we were going to do. We would never tell them because most of the time they would be disappointed because my ex would send them to us sick, exhausted or … nevermind. I feel like that today. My plans were smashed, I am 58 and I feel bitter about that, wearing the mask is a bit of a struggle because it steams my glasses… just enough to irritate me. The dogs don't understand why I am wearing a mask, why my wife and I are not sleeping together… why I am not taking them on their long walks. I understand this is so so fucking minor in the grand scheme… Yesterday was print comp, I entered 4 images and got 1 into the Merit category. That's supposed to be good, but honestly I am struggling even feeling anything about that. Sunday's are generally hard for me for whatever reason… but to day I feel so anxious, out of sorts. It's raining, so can't even go outside on the deck… again, I know its small shit…
