It’s so wild to me that parts of modern fandom have decided that trying to destroy actually good tv shows with diverse casts and writers rooms is a form of activism? They’ll watch much worse shows that are much less diverse and never say a word, but the minute a progressive show comes around that’s quality they’ll rip it to shreds not via any real vehicle of criticism but just moral purity flexing.
