I really liked it! I had always been a fan of the ttrpg so CP2077 had a place in my heart despite the bugs, and I had been keeping my eye on the anime since it was announced. And it's pretty fantastic!
It tells a self contained cyberpunk story with the absolutely beautiful backdrop that is Night City. And as always is the case with Studio Trigger it's visually stunning and dripping with aesthetic. One of my only gripes though is it's too short. I understand they probably had only been given 10 eps to work inside but I think this show would have greatly benefitted from either a 12 episode season or maybe even a second season alltogether. It is in the nature of the Cyberpunk genre to have very quick 0-100 escalation, however, I felt by the time things started going wrong I didn't care enough about the characters. Although, when they were actually around they were supremely well written, and I feel my wanting to see more is a compliment in its own way.
My only other issue is with the nudity they show of Lucy. It felt pretty pointless and written off with a flimsy "I like to netrun naked" explanation which prompted a literal eye roll from me when I saw that part. But all things considered it's a pretty minor gripe. Though it does attest to the NSFW nature of the show, please, if you want to watch, go in knowing there is lots of violence/gore and sexual themes. It's all pretty prevalent throughout so if you have any specific triggers about those things I recommend looking into a list of trigger warnings.
Otherwise it's a very nice and short watch, with a well written story and impressive emotional beats.
