1. i assumed that, even though i was pretty neutral about them, that there would be a lot of mary/matthew fans. and while there are a good number, what really took me off guard is that a lot of people really really really REALLY hate mary. i was baffled. like i thought she was the main character, no? and sure u can dislike main characters and still enjoy a show (we’ve all seen victorious) but like i was always kinda shrugging her bad behavior off bc like whatever. she’s mary. personally she was not in my top favorite characters list but that’s just bc of the type of characters i like

2. i was thrilled to see there were other people who hate mr. bates!! like apparently there was a whole thomas vs “banna” fans situation?? amazing showstopping spectacular!! i don’t mind anna i think she’s sweet but mr bates… oh if i saw him in the streets …self righteous violent little fucker

3. there are MOVIES ?? are u kidding me im tired bro . i’m not watching those . i dont believe in them. who the hell are guy and richard. beats me i don’t want to know. if i close my eyes i do not see

4. surprised at the robert haters too! i did not enjoy his one cheating storyline but other than that whatever man he’s just some old rich man

8. one question that was never answered for me by my research: were people mad at how fast mary moved on from matthew? i feel like had i been a mary matthew fan and had i been watching the show as it came out, my feathers would’ve been ruffled. the whole last season was sooooo rushed i was mad about it

9. i love u tom branson and i hate that they dulled ur sharp edges in the last couple seasons and you were relegated to genial smiling support character. what happened to my socialist irish revolutionary. rip early seasons tom branson you would’ve loved zohran mamdani oh god you would’ve loved him
