[For some reason that Chekov can't understand, Commander Spock has neither killed him nor tortured him after he murdered a crewmate. That doesn't mean he's any more willing to let his boyfriend's treason slide. His phaser and knife have been confiscated, but he wouldn't be where he is if he didn't have spares hidden.
He comes phaser first into Sulu's bedroom.]
Now, Котик. What vas all that about?
[Sulu hesitates. Chekov is not cleared to know any information on the revolution, for... obvious reasons. But Captain Kirk had mentioned his intentions of making a shipwide announcement soon. Surely it would be okay to explain it, in exchange of his life.
So, Sulu talks. He tells Chekov all he knows about the revolution. Chekov lowers the phaser halfway through but, once he's done, he leaves Sulu's quarters without a word.]
