Champagne Showers in Normandy
Last October, I spent the best weekend of my life with the best people.
We didn't know each other that well, but after spending 72 magical hours of pure bliss, there isn't a day that we don't all talk. I've found my French family here and it's amazing. From Monday-night-jam nights to girls'-night-Christmas-dinners to wedding planning, little did we know as we embarked on that weekend how close we'd become.
Sharing a few pictures with friends, they remarked, "wow, it's like a movie". And that's what it was. A weekend of sunshine, champagne, nature, laughter, a block of comté...
Mornings were spent indulging on La Motte butter on baguettes, coffee and walks around the countryside.
Afternoons were accompanied by champagne and cheese with a view while talking and cross stitching.
After our first apéro (didn't we just have lunch?!) we would explore a neighboring town and make it back to the wonderful house to pop more Champagne and cider.
We dressed for dinner out, but only after our second apéro while watching the sunset. Nights were spent drinking gin and tonics and dance parties until 3 A.M.
Thank you J&F for hosting the #NormandyCrew. There are no words for my gratitude.

We are all longing for spring to arrive to come back to Normandy.
