This #Nissan #xtrail came in as a #nonrunner due to the #dpf being so badly blocked! We measured the #backpressure on start up before it cut out which was 18psi!!! We made the decision that with 190,000 miles on the clock a dpf #carbonclean would be the best long term solution. We removed the dpf, filled it with our carbon clean cleaning solution and then hooked it up to our #dcs16 machine... it took a couple of shots to get the air/water flowing through easily! We ended up putting 25 litres through leaving it spotless and ready for another 100,000+ miles👍 The after picture shows the back pressure right down to 0.5psi and starting & #running as it should. We had this #chevrolet #captiva brought in today as a #nonrunner due to the #Dpf being so blocked!!! It had been into another garage to have the initial cause of the blockage rectified (2 faulty injectors) and they had tried cleaning the Dpf with several different products🤦‍♂️ We carried out our initial manual back pressure check which showed over 10psi back pressure!!!
