Pairing(s): Kenseix reader

Kensei’s back in theclearing. Where Aizen had him, Mashiro, Shinji and everyone else hollowfied. Hehates the place and the memories that come with it. He’d do anything to neverrevisit that spot.

“Yo, Muguruma.” A voicecalls out to him from behind.

When he turns around,he sees himself. The difference being that his copy has white skin, golden eyeswith black sclera and black teeth and wears a predominantly white shihakusho.The copy grins at him, a cold, cruel grin.

Kensei hates his innerhollow. Hates the cruelty and the callous nature that the thing possesses tothe core. Most of all, he vehemently hates the whispers, the promises of deathand destruction coming from the wretched creature whenever he fights or puts onthe mask. He may have subjugated the hollow, but he cannot get it to shut up.

“Get lost.” He snarlsat the hollow. Hensei- what Mashiro calls it- just sniggers.

“Make me.” He sayschallengingly, “Or are you too chickento do that? Then again, what am I supposed to expect from a weakling?”

He steps forward, thegrin- which is more like a sneer- never faltering. “The shinigami that follow you, your superiors, that girl…they’llalways be wary of you. They’ll always be afraid of the power that I possess andthe things that I do - what I can do if you just give me-”

“Take your offer,shove it up your ass and fuck off.” Kensei moves to grab the hollow, but hemoves back too quickly. “None of themwill accept you!” He calls at him, “You’rea freak of nature! You’re half hollow! Why would anyone want to spend time willinglyaround something that can kill them at the first given opportunity?” Hethen points at Kensei’s hands. Kensei’s hands are now covered in blood, much tohis horror.

“Ken…sei…” Yourvoice weakly calls his name. When he turns, he sees you lying on the ground,your face contorting in agony. Blood pools out of a wound on your stomach. Hiszanpakuto lies nearby your body.

“___!” He whispers ashe rushes to you. Did he do this to you? He would never hurt you! He pulls yourbody close to him and cradles it gently. When you look at him, the heartbrokenlook on your face seems to shatter something in him.

“Why?” You ask him,the hurt in your voice standing out. “I…trusted you…why?” You murmur, andthen go still.

Kensei wakes up with a start. It’s still dark outside,possibly midnight. His arms are still wrapped around your slumbering figure. Hereleases you and gets up, breathing heavily.

It’s okay. She’s okay.She’s alive. He mentally chants as he tries to get a hold of himself.

“Kensei?” You ask sleepily, having woken up from yourboyfriend moving. All traces of sleep vanish the moment you glimpse the shakenexpression on his face. “Kensei, what is it?” You ask him, turning his head toface you.

“Nothing. Just a nightmare.” He mutters, looking at you asif to reassure himself. It must have beena pretty bad one, you think as you hug him.

“How bad?”

“You…you died.” He whispers, making your eyes widen. “You diedand it was because of me-”

“But I didn’t.” You pull back, and then lean in to kiss himsoftly. “I’m still alive. And I’m going to stay that way for a long time, sodon’t worry.” You continue leaving light kisses all over his face to reassurehim, as he pulls you closer to him. Eventually he relaxes and kisses you fullyon your mouth.

“I love you.” You whisper into his mouth.

As you can see, the first letters are G-L-O-T-P-F-T! And she found it could mean Gray & Lucy our OTP from Fairy Tail! I would never have guessed alone!
