[Pt: Coining: Beliefkin, end PT]

🌕 Definition: A term for a kintype that is somehow intertwined with a belief someone holds, whether a phenomenon, creature, ability, deiety etc. Beliefkin may develop the belief after the kintype, have the kintype originate from the belief or have them emerge simultaneously. (and so on). The belief may be intense or something vague or "in the background".

🌗 Examples:

☽⁺ ₊ Believing that your cryptid kintype exists irl ☽⁺ ₊ That you can physical shift into your kintype ☽⁺ ₊ That a diety "gave" you a kintype. ☽⁺ ₊ That you have been or will be your/a kintype in a theriform or theriform equivilent state. (past & future lives, reincarnation) 🌑 This does not mean to invalidate any experience, rather aknowledge the various origins for otherkinity. It is NOT meant to be synonomous with spiritual otherkinity, but can be used as such if the belief terminology fits your experience. Other uses could be metaphysical, physical, biological and cultural! If you feel it fits a psychological experience go ahead too! Anyone who feels their otherkinity is intertwined to a belief they hold may use this.

🍂 Flag meaning: Blue/Purple - Metaphysical beliefs. Eg: reincarnation, the existence of multiple universes, dieties, souls. Yellow - Community Pinkish - Physical, "outer world"/external related beliefs. Eg: physical shifting, a certain creatures current or past existence.

🍁 Symbolism: The cloud is theories, beliefs and consiousness. The star thus is the core of the identity, this may be explained by "integral level" terminology. And the three lines pointing diagonally down represent how the identity shines onto other aspects of life and bring clarity to one's experiences. Even if much of the star, the identity is showing. Not everything about oneself can or needs be explained. The jagged line, or lightning, going through the cloud represents the potential hardship with a belief of identity alternative to the norm. It is not fully apparent because of how the hardship isn't "necessary", and can be dealt with. ☽⁺ ₊ Can be typed as: ✦☄⛈

🦴 Might be a simple symbol, but I quite like it :3 I guess it's good for it to be easier to replicate... Also if I'm not clear enough: Conspiratory, bigoted etc. "beliefs" are not included here. This includes "beliefs" that are influenced by these harmful ideologies. I know it's been a bit, life's not been great if you've heard on my other blog. But I wish to coin and make more flags here because it makes me (and hopefullly some of you) happy :D

nonhubophid — a term for those who were born physically nonhuman but those traits do not show anymore for whatever reason!

anibophid — a term for those who were born physically an animal but those traits do not show anymore for whatever reason!

Species affirming disability - a term for anyone who feels their disability in some way affirms their species, their disability may cause them to experience species euphoria

some examples could include: merfolk who have difficulty walking/standing, bats who are visually impaired, robots with tics or a stutter, or cats who are hyper mobile

Happy Tail Syndrome flag - happy tail syndrome is a condition where dogs wag their tail so hard it becomes injured, often due to hitting hard surfaces such as walls or furniture. This flag can be used by any alterhuman or nonhuman individuals, aldernic individuals, alters, etc. who feel like they have/would have it

Basically if you've got a tail you could damage by wagging it to much you can use it, this flag is not exclusive to those who identify with or as dogs. The creator doesn't consider this to be a transID

species dysphoria holder and species euphoria holder ( plural terms )

flags for alters in partially ( or completely ) nonhuman systems who act as either species dysphoria or species euphoria holders.

note : not too much a fan of how this set came out, but here it is anyway.

when one is both biohazardous and a werewolf / a biohazardous werewolf / or someone that is a werewolf because of biohazard.

a vampire species term in which one's species can only be described as simply being a vampire. no reason to further label it, because you just are a vampire.
