As for True's resemblance to Jon Sims- The bones of the character existed well before I ever listened to TMA, but I can't say there's no influence there. I actually wrote a ficlet once that placed True into the world of TMA, as someone who's not an avatar YET, and in which Ipsum Delatura was not an Anomalous Object but, fitting the setting, a Leitner. 😌
