Em's Gator Club by Al Hess
The swingin’ cats of Boise don’t just come to the Gator Club for jazz and gin, but for what Emery Wilson offers in the back room. They deal in contramods—nanobot software and devices unobtainable through legal means. Though many dealers make their living from sex mods and dope injections, Em—who has hemiplegia and knows how it feels to have a disability—gives away innovative medical aids and prosthetics for cheap. But altruism is hurting their wallet. If they can’t come up with rent for the club by the fifth, the jive joint will close and Em will be out on the street. Enter Joe: a square with an urgent need to cure his addiction to a powerful new drug, and a wad of dough if Em can help. But commissioning a cure means Em will have to venture into the foul domain of a shady programmer, risking reputation and appetite. When commissioning the cure becomes more complicated—and dangerous—than first expected, Em will need to use wits, grit, and their own contramod to keep the club, and themselves, alive. This is a short story prequel to Mazarin Blues, the first book in the queer and cozy decopunk series, Hep Cats of Boise.

Gender Bent Horizon by Wren
During a work trip I was asked to describe what being nonbinary was like. I don't know what they expected but I do know what they got. This is a personal expression about how I feel gender. I hope this resonates.

The Severance Vol. 1 by Morgan A. Drake
The bond dies. So does the rider. Unless... The bond between a dragon and their rider is neural architecture, shared consciousness — a second heartbeat that cannot be removed without killing both. When Ryn's bonded dragon Kivith dies saving strangers, the connection holding their mind together begins to unravel. Bond severance is almost always fatal. Even a new bond is no guarantee — and the ancient dragon emerging from the shadows of the Sacred Caverns knows that well. He's is not offering comfort nor pity, but a choice. Eskarith has outlived seven riders. Has spent half a century in deliberate seclusion. He emerges now because Kivith left something in Ryn, something old and urgent, something important, and their dying body is running out of time to carry it. ' Partnership without comfort. Purpose without ease. Life without forgetting what you've lost. Choose quickly. Your neural pathways degrade with each moment.' Content warnings: on-page death and grief, body transformation, LGBTQ+ characters and themes.

My two books with nonbinary leads!
hey nonbinary people here are some books I wrote with nonbinary people in them
My first romcom, Chef's Kiss, is about a pastry chef at a food magazine falling for her kitchen manager, Ray, who comes out at work as nonbinary. It's a slow burn for foodies.
The sequel, Chef's Choice, is about Luna and JP fake dating while trying to win an inheritance-based cooking challenge. It's T4T and features a few nonbinary side characters, Ray included.
And then there's Triple Sec, a polyamorous romcom about a bartender getting picked up by a queer couple. One of the couple, Kade, is nonbinary.
Anyhoo happy day
A Glimmer of Silver by Juliet Kemp
Jennery is floating on xyr back when Ocean speaks for the first time. Just three days away from freedom, all Jennery has ever wanted to do was become a musician—because if you reach sixteen and Ocean hasn't spoken to you once, then you can pursue a different life instead of becoming a Communicator. But Ocean speaks to Jennery—only to Jennery. And Ocean is angry. And when Ocean is angry, bad things happen to the humans who have colonized Ocean's world. Jennery must choose whether to listen or to swim away. A Glimmer of Silver is a novella about responsibility, growing up, and what happens after first contact.
