One of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle? Getting better with age! #Repost @cute_court818 ใปใปใป 11 years! That's the difference in these pics, age 22 vs 33! 22 and in my 4th year of university where the Freshman 15 just sort of stuck around! I really did think at the time I was eating pretty healthy... I mean giant bowls of Cesar salad made with low fat dressing is healthy right!!? It's Salad!? Don't get me wrong I love a good Cesar salad, but I'll make my own dressing now with clean, whole ingredients so I know exactly what's in it, no sugar and full of healthy fats! I was also totally missing the point about micro-nutrition! I wasn't fuelling my cells with all the vitamins and minerals they need to perform optimally. Fast forward 11 years and you have the pic on the right, does that mean it took me the whole 11 years to get there?! Well...Yes and no, we all have our own journeys and for me 11 years is what it took, but my "official" fitness journey has really only been the last 3. Now I'm very aware of what I choose to put in my body (yes I still love chocolate.. Sometimes love it too much! ๐ and I have the odd glass of vino... It's not about deprivation). I train to improve my performance and get better every day so my nutrition needs to do the same. If you've been struggling to shed a few pounds, have more energy to keep up with your kiddos or get to the gym, or just to get a good night sleep ๐, I'm here to help and it would be an honour to work with you on achieving your health goals!
