Checking out the efficiency of sound therapy on mynoise.net π± Shanya is sleeping peacefully for about an hour already, though he is a hyperactive catπ He looks very confused when you turn the sound offπ #ΠΊΠΎΡ #ΠΌΡΡΡΠ°Π½ΠΈΠ΅ #ΠΌΠΈΠΌΠΈΠΌΠΈ #Π·Π²ΡΠΊΠΎΡΠ΅ΡΠ°ΠΏΠΈΡ #cat #soundtherapy #furryfriend #purringcat #noisegenerator
Okay guys Iβm feeling the need to tell you about this site Iβve been using for a while now.
http://mynoise.net/noiseMachines.php
It is by far my favorite to play at the background while I write, study, or read. Most people are familiar with sites that offer the sounds of rain on a loop. But have you ever felt like you wanted to play around with it a little? Wished you could turn up that sound of droplets on a window, or rather having it sound like a proper down pour? Well with this site you can! And not just with rain, but with a cats purr, singing bowls, the chatter of a busy restaurant, and even trafficΒ noise.
Each generator has sliding knobs that you can manipulate certain parts of the sounds it has. So you can finetune it to your own liking. Plus if you found a setting you particularly like you can save the URL.
I usually use it to play on the background when iβm working, the generators I prefer doesnβt have voices in it that can distract me from my work. It also helps block out other background noises or actually fill the silence, both can be equally distracting.
But I think it that they can also help set a certain mood, or help people with anxiety (I find the rain generators and the cat purring particularly soothing).
You do have the choice to donate money or be a free user. In my opinion there are still plenty of options as a free user. The only limitations that Iβve experienced so far is that you canβt quickly switch between generators (you have to wait roughly 1 minute before you can chose a new generator again), there are a handful of generators you donβt have access to, and you canβt play multiple generators at once. So still a lot to play around with I think!
I hope some of you guys will enjoy it as much as I do :)
