I think my biggest problem is that I love being alone, but I hate being lonely.

There are gay guys who do not look for hook ups and so (naturally) do not go on hookup apps, which happens to be pretty much every gay-meeting app. Maybe I’m asking for too much, but I wish the dating pool didn’t seem so tiny, so irrelevant. We all want to be validated, and the gay community is so pointed towards sex that you’re the outlier if you’re not super into it! Like sure, that’s a benefit of a relationship, but I’m not seeking something for just that. I shouldn’t have to sacrifice my preference just to gain the hypothetical of being in a relationship.
