im not at all able to process this right now, but the trans amendment bill passed in lok sabha. if it passes through rajya sabha (people are saying it will go through consideration tomorrow) there will be no legal way for me to transition. this bill effectively guts any legal recognition for transmasc people. there will be no actual way to be a trans man in india. i thought the bill was so ridiculous there was no way it was gonna get passed. or even considered. i shouldve known better and gone to that protest. i shouldnt have chickened out. i shouldve shared the news. instead i just sat back apathetically. i dont know anymore. im not really feeling anything now.
