My original blog is no more. Can’t even remember the last time I updated it, really. It was time to let go. From now on nofatclips.com will redirect to this Tumblr.
What does your url mean?
When I decided to create my blog/website (initially on Blogger, then on Wordpress) I came up with several potential domain names for it and then googled each one of them to see which would give none or very few results.
The concept was to showcase examples of moving image (film, music videos, ads) that would counter the mainstream obsession for McDonald’s style entertainment (unhealthy, overly produced, stereotyped, intellectually unstimulating, all flash and no substance)
Ultimately, nofatclips was the winner, being the one that sucked less between those with less than 10 search results (zerofatclips really sounded lame...) The blog is now offline, but a lot of my social media accounts still use this handle.
