Since I started making my own headcanons for Beyond MV, and since i am unable to separate the Space trio/YDP stuff from the timeline i use...
Yes. I made a brand new design for Noel himself and dubbed it as "Beyond version" -- i hope everyone like him as much i love and am obsessed with him lol (the Space trio lives rent free in my head nowadays. deal with it.)
His design obviously had a whole drastic change from the initial idea i made and from the Chess Piece meme. It does resemble Arsenemon Noir, right? Well, that's the intent.
Adult Noel's design was based with the original Arsnemon's design in mind, but then I got upset with how some of my ol' mons were designed and then I redesigned them in 2025. Even if I was ok with his original design, i found too unfair for me to redesign Ganimardmon but not update his design. Then... yeah. the new one was way more neat and i love it.
Then, this year i finally got ideas for his final evolution. I wanted to give him a full line and mix more than LupPat in his design, so i went and used both Persona 5's Raoul and Kaitou Kid's as insp, but still kept it close to the new version of Arsenemon.
Yet... when thinking about my design for Rui in Beyond MV... I thought the Space trio (+ Nogi Yu's Advverse counterpart, Nokita Yuu) deserved a new version as well. And you get them in the Chess Piece meme, but Noel's was still a thought. His design didn't feel right, because originally I wanted to use his normal adult design instead.
So i made the original draft and didn't enjoy it much. Then, i tried it again last night and we got this. Also i have to thank this video from pikat for helping me learn a few tricks i want to use in future stuff as well.
BTW, I tried to make him the same size as the Beyond MV Rui, but i think it will be hard to do it 🤣
so, do y'all like this design? (^・ω・^ ) i personally loved it and i think i've improved a ton since the time i made his 02TB v. design...
