the princess looked surprised by the offer — from being called out as royalty wandering the docks and the notion of sailing. her? out on the ocean? aurora couldn't deny it sent a surge of excitement through her veins. she'd never left sonne. never so much as left the forest that surrounded her castle let alone boarded a ship and sailed out onto the dark waters. despite the terrible unknown, aurora was completely enticed by his offer.

Another shard acquired...another naysayer that considers his 'quest' some fool's errand stemming from the delusions of a quote on quote 'space bumpkin' who's likely lost any sense of reality due to the unfortunate circumstances of finding himself as the last of one doomed species. Perhaps it's best if he doesn't rub the dirtied shard of the Master Emerald off on his quills to rid it of the soot its found itself caked in. He doesn't need questions from the locals of yet another planet questioning his motives on why he feels the need to risk limbs to recover some dirty rock. Though it's not like this one looks...local.
