omg KILLER question. I think that Blaine would be a good host because that's the sort of thing he'd fixate about early on and I'm sure the Andersons were one of those families that considered it "rude" if the children of the house didn't come present themselves to guests, Cooper and Blaine probably had little performance pieces at the ready and all that. Blaine's not that great at reading certain social norms but I think he's very good at etiquitte and deportment! Also for an experience on the exact opposite end of the spectrum I think Sugar. You go over to Sugar Motta's house and you go past a baby grand in the foyer and she shows you to a series of pashminas she's spread on the living room carpet because "we're doing a Moroccan picnic theme today" and she'd make everyone come to the kitchen and help her get things ready because NOTHING would be ready and then when you're settled on the pashminas to eat she's constantly jumping up to tend to one of her 8 Yorkies or to answer the door to the neighbour who came over to borrow "that little Harry Winston tennis bracelet your mother has, dear" and she makes her guests adorn themselves in fashion from her Fun Trunk and drink karkadeh tea out of the most exquisite tiny heirloom glasses and somehow it's a great time?!?
