so i was asked to gif this mack video which is like a friendship knowledge test from his chicago steel days, and as i watched it i was hit with the realization that mack was craving to be known by someone. when they were asked to answer what mack's favorite restaurant was, he kept saying 'you better get this' and when he did he seemed so overjoyed and even relieved, maybe? and he was like 'we're amazing, eh?' like there's something about this that screams to me that he was seeking closeness and to be known.
