I’m alive and to celebrate being back, I wanna share the second wave of Wayhaven commissions I got! 

In the spirit of the love month, I commissioned some of my absolute favorite artists to draw my detectives with their favorite vamps

@oliviajoytaylor Drew Nat flustering poor Noa

@dyemelikeasunset, someone I’ve had the privilege of following since like, 2008 on DA, drew Morgan attempting and failing to annoy Ms. Big Dick Energy

@kriskukko, whom I’ve bothered twice now, drew Farah also flustering poor Noa

And @annasassiart drew Maggie trying to get Ava to give in to her feelings

Up next is a commission I got from @cinnimani of Noa, Farah and the bean! I know I made Unit Babies for each member of UB but there’s just something about the Hauville-Ryan family that makes me all mushy inside

A Wayhaven sketch dump turned draw pile

It started out as just some sketches of Noa and Maggie’s parents and then it turned into a whole thing. I ended up sketching Bobby, Douglas, Tina and Verda and tried my hardest to match how they were described in the story and then I ended up drawing some of their dynamics with my detectives

Bobby and Noa are exes and even though Noa doesn’t trust her anymore, she still cares about her. Enough to grab her by the shoulders and show genuine concern after the Maal-Assad attack

Noa and Verda are best (human) friends; they bonded over science since Noa has a tech background. He also knows why she almost went to prison over it too

Maggie and Tina are best (human) friends and are menaces to society together. She also ended up saving Douglas in the thrall attack so now she’s got a nineteen year old making eyes at her

Noa’s hair doesn’t change very much throughout the books because she’s always gonna want to keep it short and dyed. I think this was more of an excuse to draw the origin of her eyebrow scar

I couldn’t stop thinking about Wayhaven children and now I’ve got a whole litter of these dorks taking up space in my mind. I had to pause on some commissions I’m working on just to get them all out. I used old doodles of Unit Bravo but I redid Farah’s and I adjusted Nat’s skin tone. Assuming there’s some bullshit magic out there that can give them biological children, I introduce my Unit Babies
