47. What’s their pain tolerance like?

It’s pretty good - she’s a stoic person to start with. She has a dismissive attitude towards pain, seeing it as an inconvenience or a hurdle to get over. She’ll continue to work through the pain until she physically can’t continue. For example, if she were in a duel and got injured, she would keep duelling until the duel is finished - one way or the other.

62. Have they ever been betrayed? How did it affect their ability to trust others?

The obvious one is Rakepick. Even before she became a Professor, she was always a little unpredictable. She didn’t think twice about threatening others, helped only when it was convenient to her, but she was an adult in who Dumbledore had decided to trust in a position of power over the students. So while Freyja was wary of Rakepick, she decided to trust her when it came to matters of life and death. If Dumbledore trusted Rakepick, why shouldn’t she?

So when Rakepick outed herself as a member of R, and left the kids for dead in the Vault, it completely shattered Freyja’s view of the world. If you can’t trust someone who has a duty of care towards you, who can you trust?

75. If given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?She’s not the type to doodle to pass time, unless it’s during class... on a scale of McNully to Badeea, her artistic ability is definitely on the McNully end of the spectrum.

87. What is something they regret?

She regrets encouraging Ben in 5th year in his quest to become fearless. She thought she saw some of herself in him – the refusal to be a burden, able to be the protector and not just the protected. She thought she was empowering him to make his own calls, but instead it kind of pushed him closer to the edge. They both kind of hardened after the events of year 5, but it wasn’t until Ben started asserting himself as her protector in 6th year that she realised just how far he was willing to go.
