The darkness tingled down the bottom of your spine, a chill that settled deep beneath your stomach as your skin prickled at the cobwebs surrounding you. They touched at you like ghosts, a terrified yelp threatening to bubble over your lips as you stared up into the many red eyes of the creature in front of you.
The creature with a human torso as fair and cold as ice was piercing even in the abyss, a huge body and many hairy grey legs hanging perched in front of you. The creature with humanoid features grinned at your frightened expression, as you stumbled back towards the rock behind you; cool and slick against your back.
“P-Please… please don’t kill me!” Your words came out in a petrified squeak, the reminder to you that you were more of a mouse than human being. The creature, amused by your appearance, merely chuckled lowly, its voice bouncing along the walls.
“My, what a sweet little thing you are. Wandering too close into the spider’s den.” He crouched to get closer to you, his head leaned in. “Whatever must I do with you?” You gulped, taking a hesitant step back, fear dripping colder than a chill through your body.
The drider cooed and your simpering, stroking your hair from your face. “I know just what to do with you my sweet.” He chuckled, and your heart leapt out as if being dropped in ice cold water, freezing you in front of the predator, and you were both his prey and pet.
