Backstory -*.⁠｡⁠*✧ Zellie Meridian Prince was born on a dim August night, far from the confines of the magical world. Her parents had wanted to escape the madness of their lives- coming from corrupt, pureblood familles. Yet, the Dark Lord had sent a search out on them, to find them and to assassinate them. Calliope Meadowes had already lost the battle of childbirth, but her child had survived. Meanwhile, Alecsaunder LeStrange, the oldest son of the LeStrange home, had managed to raise his daughter for two years before he was found. He had anticipated this. He hid the girlchild, went downstairs, and accepted his fate.

Soon after Voldemort had finished the job, Severus Snape was sent upstairs to search for anything useful, and bring it back to him. He had no knowledge that Snape's best friends had been Alecsaunder and Calliope back in his teen years. He also had no knowledge that there was a child in the home. Snape did. He found her exactly where Alecsaunder said. Upon seeing the child, who was a reflection of her father's features and her mother's smile, he made a vow- to never let this child suffer the same fate as her parents.

Severus raised her at Spinner's End, letting her roam the muggle world as much as she pleased once she became old enough. When he had to teach? She'd stay at home, learning about the world around her. But she eventually got her letter, and off to Hogwarts she went.
