There is a hidden blessing called being out of the competition.
When you choose to live without comparing yourself to anyone,
you no longer care about having more,
or looking better,
or proving that you’re happier than others.
You live with simplicity and sincerity,
and your life becomes softer,
your company gentler,
and your heart calmer and more beautiful. 🤍
"The page of every persons life looks different, because we are all individually different; None of us are the same."

Leopold & Loeb
Either Cavern DJ Bob Wooler or music promoter/manager Allan Williams (TBH, can't be bothered to look it up, because it's not super important which one of them said it) referred to John Lennon and Paul McCartney as Leopold and Loeb. They were the two young men who, in 1924, murdered 14-year-old Bobby Franks just for kicks because they wanted to see if they could commit the perfect murder. Spoilers - they didn't. Poor Bobby, who sounds like he was a really good kid, did absolutely nothing to provoke these two, but just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I'm bringing this up because it's the 100th anniversary of the murder, and I've attached a lengthy article about it here. After reading it, I think you'll agree that Leopold and Loeb make John and Paul look like innocent little angels in comparison, not to mention paragons of excellent mental health.
Oh heller.
Do brothers stand this close? 🤨
