I saw someone on twitter say that Louis' "best friend" (oli maybe? They didn't specify) is a homophobe and transphobe. Do you know anything about it? I don't want to stir shit here, but I can't ask the OP due to being blocked and I know you and your mutuals know a lot about not only the boys, but their teams/families/friends as well

I vaguely remember that stan (or was it hot luke?) was homophobic years ago, but I don't think louis has interacted with him/them in ages. I don't think ive heard anything about Oli, though given the time and place he (and all the others) grew up, I wouldn't be super surprised if he had a homophobic phase in his younger years. Recently though? Has anything happened?

Hi sweetheart. No, they’re likely talking about Nizam. He’s tweeted a lot of shitty things over the years and, for some reason, Louis is still friends with him.

Not as much as in the old days because he’s married now. But Louis featured him in his AOTV documentary and again in the Diary of a CEO interview. So it’s a bit odd that out of all his friends he chose to put Nizam on camera. But 🤷🏻‍♀️

Stan was his best mate. He just went to uni, got married, started a career. I don’t recall anything negative about him. And he was close with H, too.

Oli and Calvin (and I think Luke) did a lot of hooking up with girls by using their connection to Louis. But Oli appears to have grown up and matured. Calvin and Louis were still in touch until not too long ago. But I haven’t seen anything from him in ac while. And I think he may no longer talk to Luke, but last I heard was he’d moved to Canada and was living with his girlfriend.

Do I think it's a good reason? No. Do I think Louis is innocent? No.

All this said, I don't know much about Nizam and their relationship but this is just speculation based on Louis' character. It still doesn't explain why he'd choose him over someone like Oli in these cases, but its my two cents on why he won't cut ties. Maybe it has some kind of stunt element to it, relating him to gf stunts and just using him as a name when he's building a narrative.

I don't even want to touch the territory of how contradictory to have him as a good friend, and Zara as a "girlfriend".

I think we had discussions about him when the docu came out, and I have some vague memory of his presence being cut shorter after the screenings, as some of the scenes have been changed.

In the part where Louis’ friend is quoted as saying he’s “whipped” in his relationship, I thought that’s pretty cute and looked up this nizam character, as I’d never heard of him. Apparently he’s in Louis’ documentary but I guess I didn’t notice when I saw it or he wasn’t memorable.

To my shock and horror I see this guy is the worst! Says terrible things about women, gay people, Jewish people. Just an awful, awful person. Now if he tweets that kind of stuff publicly I can only imagine what he says when he’s talking shit in private.

I have a lot of questions running through my head — I don’t even need to address them all because I’m sure you know exactly what I mean. How could Louis, who seems so sweet and accepting associate with this m****f****? As a gay person himself, how does he feel comfortable being friends with someone homophobic? How does Harry allow this friendship to continue? What is going on?

I’m not asking this in a Larry context, if finding out about this unsavory character had be questioning Louis’ relationship, I would only need to remind myself of the Larry reel at glasto and everything else for years and years. That’s not it. It’s more like why would Louis let someone so disgusting into his circle? He needs to protect himself from someone who has so much homophobia.
