Yokai can be truly fearsome foes when they want to be.

Yet those same creatures can always find love.

"Yes! YES! Behold the taste of my blades!"

One of those Yokai is Kamaitachi, an enemy of the Igasaki Clan and a member of Kibaoni Gengetsu's army. A truly formidable foe on the battlefield with his sharp blades that can cut through anything.

"Now fall before my might!"

But recently, he's discovered a new hobby.

Wood carving.

Specifically, carving his love for you!

"K-Kamai....!"

You ran deeper into the forest, discovering the large cabin that he uses for his workshop, passing by the many trees that were marked with hearts and the classic "k x (y/n)" that the both of you saw within romance shows before the yokai finally showed himself. "K-Kamai...!" you sheepishly called his name.

"(Y/N)!" Kamaitachi squealed in a voice he would only show you. "You've arrived at the perfect time!" he didn't dare run and hug you out of fear of accidentally cutting you. "Please, gaze upon my newest creation! It's truly beautiful, isn't it?"

Beautiful? I mean- yeah- but-

"I-it's embarrassing...." you blushed profusely while you approached him.

"Embarrassing? I think not! I'm merely displaying my love for you!" Kamaitachi whimpered like a puppy as he complimented himself on the statue of your favorite things carved onto a stump. "You can't get merchandise of your favorite show, right? So I thought you'd love me more if I made you some!"

"Kamai...you don't have to do that...I already love you."
