X-O Manowar 45 (2016) variant by Jeff Dekal
So... I'm thinking of more Death Battle match ideas. Mainly ones that I think could be interesting due to comparisons and contrasts, as well as how cool I think they could look. The different ideas are ones that I have come up with and ones I have seen tossed around online.
Alright! Let us begin!
INVINCIBLE Vs. ULTRAMAN: Mark Grayson versus Shinjiro Hayata. Two characters that have a tough legacy to potentially live up to while also making their own path. Mark and Shinjiro have more diverging paths as they go along, I think. Mark has to definitely forge more of his own path while Shinjiro has to live up to the Ultraman name. Their powersets are quite similar in terms of baseline capabilities, such as super strength and flight.
DEATH Vs. JACKIE ESTACADO: Two beings who deal with having a darkness inside, all the while keeping that light in their hearts lit. The two also have similar enough character designs that it could be fun to see the battle be fun to try seeing the battle ending involve who actually got the final hit.
SNAKE EYES Vs. NINJAK: Potentially the greatest ninjas of their respective universes. I primarily want this just so that more Valiant characters can get their names out there. That is about it. I need to think on it a bit more for the good comparisons and contrasts.
EKKO Vs. AXL LOW: Two guys who have time on their side. Ekko is more rewinding time for himself while Axl is more about jumping all over time. Ekko is more a burst oriented for dealing with enemies while up close. Axl is more about dealing good damage while keeping a good zone between himself and his opponent, though can get up close if needed. Maybe the battle could involve time and space sort of messing up and that they're involved with that, leading to the battle.
DANI PHANTOM Vs. SUPERBOY: Clones of their respective universes greatest heroes. I think Dani and Conner have similar enough origins while differing in how they go about living. From both sort of teeter between being sure of themselves as their own person and having clone blues. As I understand it, clone blues does mean they get a bit down on if they can be their own person or if they are just cheap copies.
That's about all I got for this one. I wanted to go with a couple different ones and see what if anybody else might agree these could be cool.
