Weeks when I have ink running out of my veins and I wake up in the morning with lines of poetry scribbled on a notepad of my forearm. Truly pursuing writing is absolutely terrifying. I have so many ideas and every single one of them feels brilliant, but also daunting. There are so many moments of doubting whether or not I have the ability to articulate what is in my heart with clarity, but more importantly, with the power to spur the hearts of my audience in a positive way. In the past week I’ve begun a new writing project; it feels much scarier than anything I’ve ever written before because it’s completely raw and vulnerable: because it’s about me. I don’t even know what format it will take, but just in the last week I’ve learned so much about myself while writing it.
