I went home wishing for friends like that. See, that’s what humans are supposed to do. Make others want people like them.

New character post 8/5/12
Character creation experiment using a monster girl/boy generator.
Better than cut mango pickle- Nikhila
Years ago, there were these two girls. Same school, same grade. They knew of each others' existence, but weren't really particularly keen on exploring further. They had their own friends, their own lives, their own interests.
They left said school and joint a new school. Again, same school, same grade. This time, same class. It didn't seem to really matter. They were coridal. Just acquaintances with some common friends. And they were all set to proceed that way.
Little did they know that life had different plans.
On a school trip, some serendipity led to them discovering each others' conversational skill.
I was enthralled by you, your way of thinking and articulating and the strength of your conviction. But, it was a one time thing. An incredible conversation, an incredible discovery and an incomplete journey.
A few months later, out of pure boredom and desperation, they began studying together. And knowing barely anything about each other, they had sleepovers. Days and nights that were meant to be dedicated to studying history were spent getting to know each other and (if I might take the liberty to say) growing to love each other.
Voila. Instant friends.
Those few weeks changed my life, Pickle. I met and befriended one of the most amazing people I know.
You are the bestest person to talk to about the randomest, most fascinating things. I love that you can trust me and that I can be there to be of some assistance. I love studying with you and I love just sitting in silence with you. I love your sudden insights into the universe and the way you express them (you quoteworthy girl! *poke*) I love your expressions and the cuteness of your "Oh, stop it you!" face. I love the way you're so wise, yet so very stupid. I love that even though we haven't spoken in a while, I know I can show up at your house and we can stay up all night talking about nothing and everything. I love how we've made ourselves so comfortable in each others' homes. I love that I knew I'd love you from the moment I set eyes on your rainbow gloves. I love how you make me feel so happy, by doing the smallest things (I will forever cherish the welcome back card, in particular) I love quite everything about you and I would totally marry you, if I didn't know how disappointed you'd be at the sentiment :P
Thank you for the beginnings of a beautiful and, I'd like to believe, very long-lasting friendship.
You are truly better than cut mango pickle.
And that is really saying something, it's one of the best things to be in existence.
