It's November :>

and that means the next episode is dropping this month! I am currently doing play testing and polishing of the entire demo and once that's done it will be uploaded to patreon first and then to the rest of the community. I wanted to release it in October but there was ONE part of the episode that I wasn't sure about and have gone back and forth with so much that I scrapped it and rewrote it from scratch. I like the rewritten version better which is why it helps to question myself.

There are a few things I would like to post on patreon before the first month is up (on the 15th). I decided dropping multiple things at once works best for my schedule. I was asked if I'm going to create another tier for the demo but I won't. One tier is easier to manage for me.

The start of this year has been hectic on my end. I’ve had to write up personal plans for work and then I am writing very long scenes for Patreon this month 🥳 I started writing a little piece of the next episode to clear my mind.

my goal is to be more intentional and active on tumblr. I still struggle with maintaining activity on this account because I’m not typically a tumblr user 🫣 (I used to be when I was in fandom but unfortunately life gets in the way 💔). Disappearing every few days isn’t so fun :P hopefully it doesn’t bother anyone too much.

Monthly Roundup: January

First update and roundup of the year :> I say this constantly, but I feel inclined to remind people that when I'm inactive on Tumblr I'm not abandoning the story. I am actively working on it. I still get a ton of inbox messages about that but it's understandable which is why I will definitely make a better effort!

[As a note, I've gotten a few messages about not updating the demo since April 2025. That's not true! The last demo update was in December of 2025. I simply never changed it on the pinned post. I have now! :>]

What I did in January:

I re-outlined the scenes of the next episode since I had to do some changes to it. I've been writing the episode since before I posted the last one but my outline needed some more changing and I like having it set before I continue. September is now over and we are going into October, which means the roommates are entering holiday season—the best part of the story for me (content wise). The Halloween episode won't be the next one but talks of a party will already be happening :>

I've written (and rewritten) some of the episode. There's a part I was most excited for so I skipped to writing that scene first LOL It has to do with L and makes for a big point in the story.

I made some notes on some small changes I want to make in on the demo. Nothing big enough to feel a change but big enough (for me).

Started working on a public Pinterest since I've been asked about references! I've been asked about music playlists too so I've been doing that on the side.

Started working on side character info profiles for organization lol. Maybe I'll post that somewhere :>

On Patreon I uploaded the individual roommate POV scenes (staying home with Cal, going to the shoot with L and going to the Vault with A).

What I am doing in February:

Write more of the episode. With the outlines done and with no changes needing to be made right now I just want to move on from planning and continue writing.

I had an idea for a special Valentine's Day-themed story. I want to write it but I'm still deciding whether it will be like an ensemble mini episode or individual short stories :>

With enough of the next episode written I can start brainstorming the following after that. I like being ahead so I can this present episode with a plan.

the update is coming november 28th! :> I traveled for Friendsgiving and didn't feel confident sending it off right before being away from my computer for a few days (and then having no means of fixing/updating bugs for a few days)(id have been an anxious mess) but it's done and ready so once I'm back it'll be uploaded to patreon first thing :>

Hello! :> After what feels like a year of being asked I have finally opened up a Patreon. First, the reason why I took so long was because I wanted to prioritize the demo first. I wanted at least three chapters (episodes) out before I worked on any bonus content. The demo comes first so it didn't feel right to open one with little demo content. Over 300 thousand words seems like enough now I think!

I checked out other author Patreons and took the suggestions that were sent to my inbox. Since writing the last episode, I learned some new coding tricks and discovered better, more efficient templates. I thank the author IF authors and their stories I have been reading these past few months :P I've felt myself improving.

There is only one tier because throwing all of the content in one place feels the easiest right now :P I've posted 4 POV reads.

Now onto the general update! The next episode will be out either later this month or in November. The reason for saying both months is because I'm doing last minute debating on adding a scene that will change a few other scenes so I'm testing out both to see which ones flow better in the episode. And then it'll be out! I'm excited :> The bugs are already fixed and will be there with the new update.

Hello :> I told myself I'd do more of these to compensate for my lack of activity on tumblr. As I've mentioned before, I'm not on tumblr because of work and I'd rather dedicate my free time to writing. I'm aware I sacrifice some of the interaction between us (and the chance to have more people discover my work) but I know I'll be more active once the next episode comes out and there's more to talk about. Everything has felt like an introduction so far so when we're more into it, I see myself talking a lot more about 502 :>

I've written a healthy portion of the next episode and am really happy with what I have outlined. I'm more productive with my new computer that doesn't take ages to load :P I can't wait to share this new episode with everyone and for everyone to officially meet Andi in the flesh. It's their time to shine!

As for patreon/ko-fi(?): I've been asked many times! I'm opening up my inbox for any suggestions on bonus stuff. I want things written before I open anything. It's not going to be a high-paying tier because I still want to be able to dedicate my time to writing the story.

I'll be getting back to fixing the bugs that have been reported. I've been too focused on this next episode :P sorry.
