What is the origin of your blog name? Hope youβre well!
I am well! Thank you and I hope you're doing well too!
The first part of my name, Nightingales, is a reference to Florence Nightingale, who was a nurse in the mid-19th century who pioneered modern nursing as we know it today. She's kind of become our mascot. I've seen framed pictures of her at nurses' stations and mugs, stickers, and mousepads with her picture on them.
The second part of my name, Norco, is a combination opioid/nonopioid pain medication that is used in the hospital a lot. I chose it because it also started with an N and I wanted my name to alliterate.
