So, I was watching Jason and the Argonauts the other day. A fabulously ripping yarn, sporting a plethora of fine fellas in skimpy dresses and loin cloths.Β
And if they ever handed out a prize for most strapping man in Greek style tighty whities it would go to this man. Nigel Green in the role of Hercules. A hundred and ninety-three centimetres of broad shouldered, bearded awesomeness.
Also, best delivery of the word 'discus' I have ever head.

I love how despite being breaking into someone's home Mrs. Peel is still like, "Hey, I'm asking the questions here! Now what's this stuff in your desk?"

In the episode "The Winged Avenger" that aired on February 17, 1967, John Steed and Emma Peel went in search of someone who was dressing up as the comic book character the Winged Avenger and was issuing lethal justice in the real world. The episode had a clever nod to the "Biff" "Pow" trope of the Batman live action series. ("The Winged Avenger" The Avengers, TV Event)
