I feel like Charles is one of those people who does experience romantic attraction but not really in an allonormative way. Partially because he's aspec, but also because he doesn't exactly process his feelings the same way that other people do (yay, autism). Like, he does have feelings for people that he considers romantic, but his definition of that is kind of different from most of the people around him; he doesn't really experience it in the same way or want the same things out of it. He's romance-favorable but the romance he's favorable towards is a very specific thing for him. Like, yes, he wants a relationship, but no kissing, no dates, no touching him without asking, etc. He just wants to chill and infodump to the people he cares about. I don't really know if he considers that a QPR or not; I don't really think he's super by-the-book about labels, they're kind of just adjectives to him.
