1. I speak one language well-ish, and three languages somewhat poorly. 2. I tried stevia today, the leaf itself. It tasted like splenda in leaf form, it was extremely weird. 3. My dog saved me from burning my house down once, by standing in front of the oven and barking until I came to find the smoke pouring out of it from whatever I'd been baking that I completely forgot about. 4. I weighed myself for the first time in about a year yesterday. 5. I watched Divergent yesterday and I have a lot of feelings about it. Good and bad feelings. Mostly good. But also bad. (I'm really mad they left out how Tris rejected Al romantically, because while Al was indeed a coward, his Nice Guyness also played a role in how he could turn on her, and that was a really important thing to demonstrate in media aimed at young women. Also other things, but I won't continue to be ranty here. But I loved Theo and Shailene, and I keep going back and forth between EEEEEE THEYRE SO CUTE I LOVE THEM and omg nooo but allegiant is going to happen) 6. I really need a vacation. Like... really, really. 7. When I was little, I used to keep a little suitcase beside my bed in case there was a fire or we had to run out of the house for whatever emergency. It contained literally nothing of value. Some Nancy Drew books, lollipops, socks, one of my mom's bras, some toys. But if something was gonna happen, I was gonna be prepared. 8. It frustrates me how even now, years and years into recovery, my ED is such a factor in my life, especially when things get stressful. 9. I got yelled at yesterday for not answering my texts in a timely fashion. She sort of had a point, but... she's also not the boss of me, so. *Why yes, I am a grown woman* 10. I was dating this guy once and he gave me this really creepy monkey statue thing, because monkeys were sort of our thing at the time. But this thing is literally so scary. His beady little eyes stare directly into your soul, hungrily. I still have the thing, but he wears an old pair of sunglasses now, so that helps.
