After Nicky and Cassandra get back together, Nicky takes a more active role in both hers and Taylor's lives. He takes care of the house and helps Taylor with his schooling so that Cass can focus on work. Taylor and him watch anime, he teaches him guitar, and teaches him self defense, all as ways of bonding. Nicky also takes it upon himself to get Glenn, Jodie, Scam, and Hermie to visit on christmas, trying his best to break the family curses.

When Nicky and Cassandra were first dating, Cassandra made sure she dragged Nicky away from his work on weekends. She did this by bringing him to her house every saturday evening to watch cheesy or down right bad movies that they could make fun of. Later when she first started voice acting, she was cast on low quality productions, so they binged those shows/movies to make fun of the terrible scripts.
