- Ok so there are three Nicks now: Nick Nelson (Heartstopper), Nick Eisner (Simon) and Nick-Victor’s ex boyfriend, which causes so much chaos and misunderstandings
- Simon and Nick N getting along well. Nick teasing Simon about his complete lack of coordination, Simon passing his oreo addiction onto Nick
- Abby adoring Tara and Darcy sm
- Rahim and Elle chatting about fashion + painting each other’s nails
- Tori and Pilar becoming besties, gossiping about their brothers

I’m gonna say it. you don’t have to feel represented in love, simon. hell, you don’t even have to like it. but to actively hate on it and invalidate the people who found comfort in it is really weird to me. I get it, the movie isn’t perfect. I’ll be the first to admit that it has flaws. trust me, I know. but making people feel bad or guilty for finding comfort in something is such a shitty thing to do. you would fucking hate if it people spent so much time shitting on one of your comfort movies, too. it’s despicable how much instead of just criticizing it, people actively hate on it all the time. i saw love, simon for the first time in 8th grade. i had just come out to my parents a year ago. a lot of the things in that movie were things I needed to hear, things that saved my life. i know plenty of people who were also outed who found a lot of comfort in love, simon and related to simon’s story. I guess what I’m trying to say is think before you speak. criticizing a movie is absolutely okay, but actively hating on it all the time, especially when someone who loves it talks about it, is gross. this is just a general message it’s not directed I’m just rewatching love, simon.
