i feel so bad for nick anytime i watch any scene he's in, like you're a star lacrosse player and jazz guitarist dating the popular girl but she's kinda mean to the girl who's mom died last year and just got back into music again (and her band is poppin, by the way, they're definitely gonna blow up and you make sure not to miss a show) and you keep running into this girl and you kinda start liking her and your girlfriend just keeps getting meaner, so you break up with her, and even though you've gotten back together every other time, you swear you won't this time, because you're gonna ask out the girl you have a crush on, who also absolutely killed your dance performance, and you're pretty sure she'll say yes because she's always acted awkward around you so she probably has a crush too (even though she looked kind of close with her bandmate at her garage show but hey, you miss a hundred percent of the shots you don't take), but then she says she has feelings for someone else and you missed your chance so now you have to make the awkward exit, and that kinda sucked but you still like her band so there's no way you're not gonna go see her open for panic at the disco at the orpheum, like holy shit! and the next day you want to apologize and make sure things are alright between you so you bring her flowers but before you actually talk to her you get possessed by an evil sparkly ghost in steampunk goggles. and there is no resolution to this situation. ok

I love how almost 98% of JATP fan fictions has every single character, originals as well, as a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. It soothes my soul on a level i do not want to understand.
