My colleague told me the new manager is leaving... Just a rant you can ignore.
This manager is an agency work but I don't know if 1) it's true. 2) if it is true has she been sacked or is she going?
This colleague found out from a higher up manager in her 1:1 meeting. Now why would a manager tell her that? Seems odd but it does happen with this company. She also said they've noticed the new manager is lazy. I hope they really have noticed that because she is. With this job it is flexible hours and for example we have to submit certain paperwork same day even if its after our set hours. So she'll tell us oh its 5pm, can you just send it without me checking it? And I said no... Like it will be seen by the police and other important people so has to be proof read. And when she does proof read it she doesn't do it properly so I tripple check mine.
She's been here since September and still doesn't know how to do basic thigs. Like i was doing extra to cover my ass because she wasn't doing it and I didn't want it to come back on me. I even explained this to her and she didn't didn't do what she was supposed to do.
She has two personalities and even though I get on with her for the most part it's for my job whereas I think she does genuinly like me as a person. But like she can be really awful. One time she actually told me I disobeyed her orders and sent me this really bad email and it really upset me. I saved it and was close to taking it to another mamager/HR. But I let it slide because I wanted to gather more information on her. You can follow the drama and shit under the manager tag.
And she was shouting at a colleague really badly but my colleague was correct and she was wrong. I told her to her face that she was wrong. My colleague is too scared to call her so calls me for help. Even if the colleague was wrong a manager shouldnt speak to you the way she did. She asked how she can be a better manager and I told her to her face. Everyone in the team has been here minimim 2 years up to 10 years and shes barely here 6 months so she don't know shit and needs to know her stuff instead of just going off at us. She's a nightmare to work with.
My old manager left nearly a month ago and was there from when I started at the company. July 2015. But I am doing a higher job now. And she wasn't a manager back then. I miss her. :( The company seems like it is falling to pieces.
