Surprising Plot Twist: I will be Returning to NexusMods!
This might be hard to believe, but today I got a personal message from Victor Folmann, the current owner of NexusMods. He was really quite cordial about wanting to hear my perspective on generative AI and modding, actually. So I returned the favour by politely explaining my concerns.
Victor has now responded with confirmation that under his leadership, "we have no intentions whatsoever of using your creations, or anyone’s creations, for AI training."
With this assurance, there is no longer a clash between my creative ethical principles and the platform. Therefore, I am happy to say that much to my surprise, I plan on returning to Nexus.
I am sharing this not just to explain why I will be returning, but also hoping that it will set other minds at ease for people who held the same concerns I did.
all creators here know Tumblr's likes to reblogs ratio sucks and is discouraging but god DAMN NexusMod downloads to endorsements ratio is soooo bad too 😐
ANYWAY is your reminder that if you like a creative work, be it art /writing / gifs / mods / whatver REBLOG TO SUPPORT IT

I've uploaded a mod with an updated portrait of Cassia from Warhammer 40,000
This is my own interpretation of her character, with a more detailed and personal view of her, but still maintaining her recognizable personality and the atmosphere of the universe
