The long glowing tongue seems to respond. In one smooth motion, it trails from her bloodied palm to her now dripping wrists and finally to her forearm. By the time they are done, there isn't a single crimson drop to spare. Instead, it has left a slimy purple trail in its wake.

A shudder travels down their spine and they look up at her with reverence. "You know I do." For a moment they hold her gaze. A silent discussion is being held between the two. The creature's tongue retracts. The soft sensation of their wet digit is replaced only with a sharper harsher feeling.

When Motochika first caught wind that the newest addition to his crew possessed a talent for cooking, he admittedly remained dubious of her abilities. Just about anyone, excluding the captain himself, is able to cook up a decent enough meal provided they have all the tools and ingredients — to an extent, anyways... some leave much to be desired, but, a meal's a meal either way. There's little room to complain when stuck on the seas for days, weeks, months on end. Prior to Gabriella's arrival, the whole lot of them relied mostly on scrounging for sustenance. Tonight, this would change.

All for the better, the men would soon find out.

The delicious smell promising all on its own, the first bite of her stew brings about indescribable feelings. It's like a divine being came down from Heaven just to cook them this meal, knowing exactly what spices to use, how to perfectly prepare the fish itself —

Needless to say, Motochika's first helping doesn't last very long.

When at last Gabriella makes her appearance, the look in his eye is enough to say: this is the best damn meal he's ever had. No... Maybe not quite as good as he remembers his mama's cooking, but, it's a terribly close second, and that's saying a lot! For as much as he wants to praise her now, he's only able to spare her a couple of choice words, after he first catches her by her unoccupied wrist. Silly girl. 'Good' is an understatement.

" Now, Emily was ABUNDANTLY aware her husband was not doing so out of the goodness of his heart(?) ; she knew better than most that spending his time making earrings was not how he would usually go about his day. However, these were proving to be beneficial in understanding and controlling the entity within her friend and even though Azar was simply doing so to sate his OWN curiosity, Emily was still grateful to him nonetheless.

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲'𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐭. Perhaps for some that’s observed them up until now, perhaps they would say it’s about damn time. There was definitely sexual tension between the two of them but between Nero’s questions about himself, to his inferior complex regarding his own worth, it did not make for a very confident lover despite what his social persona might say.

Granted Nero was totally surprised to hear that she’s still tired. He wondered perhaps if this was a compliment in disguise..maybe he was so good she was still reeling from it and needed more time in order to garner her energy to begin her day. Shit, ‘no don’t think about that’ Nero told himself within the back of his mind. He must have already been a red mess last night as it is..he didn’t need to show her that his face was still capable of being flustered..at least not yet.
