All these have been featured on my page already & are all grey pieces in their own rights! So, if you could only use one piece from the collection, what would it be & why? Mine would definitely be the cushion foundation because it is one of the best I've ever used! It smells beautiful, looks amazing & feels incredibly soft on the skin. That's all before the results it gives! You would expect such a little product to give such strong results! It evens the complexion, dampens imperfections, gives a healthy, natural, glow & lasts all day! What's more, you don't need loads to achieve these results, but can layer it on the more problem areas - such as an oily t-zone. Although it gives it healthy glow, it calms down any shine, which is a tough thing to do! For me, anything that makes me look healthy is a miracle worker. Whilst I don't look like I have a chronic illness, my complexion doesn't look healthy - most people think eating disorder or drugs! They are partially right, but these aren't the problems themselves, they're just side-effects from the fibromyalgia & endometriosis. This is why beauty & fashion help me cope with my chronic illnesses because when you find good products like this, not only can they help distract from the horrible problems chronic illness brings, but they can help give you more confidence, whilst making you feel more normal by doing things such as mimicking a healthy complexion! Yup, before & after photos of me wearing the new & fantastic Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Gel Touch foundation! I still don't feel the photos do it justice, but hopefully, you can see the transformation this gave me! I used both the new retractable foundation brush & exclusive sponge to apply the foundation. I've yet to find an inclusive sponge I like, so I'd always recommend another brush to do most of the work. I like using the sponge to pat down foundation at the end &/or apply small amounts in specific areas to reduce shine - aka my t-zone! There's nothing wrong with the new foundation brush & it applied the formula to the same high standard as other Chanel brushes. I just don't think it's a necessity for this foundation. I feel it's better suited for the Les Beiges bronzers/bronzers in general & contouring, as the true greatness of this brush is lost on a natural look foundation. I can't wait to try it with contouring though cause I think it will save a lot of time switching between brushes! What I love most about this foundation, which really can't be translated in photos, is the fact that it reduces shine, yet still gives a 'lit from within glow.' You don't need tonnes of it either, though I found layering was the best option, but my skin is particularly bad at the moment so I wanted a bit of extra coverage. This foundation has a fantastic floral smell to it - I worry it may put some people off, but once it's on the smell dies down & it hasn't affected my sensitive skin. I found this formula to be the perfect consistency, similar to the bottled Les Beige foundation, but with more of a gel/jelly type smoothness & weight. Yet, once on the skin it feels feather light and is sooo refreshing. So, what do we think? Okay, enough teasing! Swipe to take a look inside part of the new Chanel 2017 Les Beiges collection + a few sneak peaks of the Summer 2017 Cruise collection! I've got more pieces on the way - the other shade of blush stick (23 Pink) & the new Les Beiges eye shadow palette, but with the bank holiday weekend it is a bit delayed. I've already featured the nail varnish/polish & cushion foundation in shade 20, so have a look through my pics to see more detailed shots & info! It's hard to pic a favourite, as so far everything is fantastic! The stick blush in shade 24 Coral is definitely top of the list, though. A beautiful, shimmering, PURE coral (a lot of corals in other makeup collections weren't), it's not as sheer as it sounds, but does blend right down so is good for all skin tones. The formula is creamy, soft & quite thick, which is why it doesn't come out that sheer, but you can us the tiniest of amounts & blend it right out for a sparkly, sheer, sheen. The new retractable foundation brush looks so unique & lush, although I haven't tested it out yet so can't say how it works. It is cut to be all different depths though, so you can hold it at different angles in order to achieve different techniques. Then you have 1 of 2 new Stylo eyeliners, 847 Terra Rossa for the Cruise collection. It's mainly a deep plum shade, but definitely has signs of red & brown lingering in there. The other shade Horizon is a deep khaki, almost black, green - I imagine it comes out more green in person, but in photos it is quite dark.
