Have anyone considered the option that Connor and F might be actually dating and Connor likes to be around him? Or them not denying or commenting (and indeed fueling) the dating rumours is some new form of distraction from HudCon like we have (finally) stepped into the new era where queer same-sex celebrities are doing PR relationship? Is like F that controvesial for some fans that we will rather deny new celebrity gay couple which is cheered by everyone but HudCon shippers and even (fashion) magazines are cheering and writing about them?

Yes, of course we have considered that. It's a possibility. It's just not something we like to imagine being true, because FA has shown himself to be a jealous, selfish, vindictive, manipulative and inconsiderate person. He's currently fueling racism towards HW, playing the victim and ragebaiting fandom. The age gap and power dynamic between CS and FA is also not great. It's the recipe of a toxic relationship.

So an actual relationship between CS and FA would be a hard sell to fandom. Fandom think Connor deserves better, much better. Connor is more than capable to shine on his own. So yes FA is that controversial at this point.

I have considered that CS and FA is a PR relationship (to distance CS from HW and not make him a third wheel). It's a possibility, and FA might even have negotiated himself something like that when accepting the role (to get as much attention as the two leads).
